Halfway through fiscal year 2026, Metro Tech Foundation has already made a meaningful impact in the lives of Metro Technology Centers students. Through the generosity of donors, community partners, and supporters, we have provided critical resources that help students overcome barriers and continue their path toward career success.
So far this fiscal year, Metro Tech Foundation has directly served 253 students, positively impacting 461 individuals through student assistance programs. More than $30,000 in student assistance and $16,000 in scholarships and awards have been provided to help students remain focused on their education and career goals.
Students often face challenges outside the classroom that can impact their ability to complete their training. The most common barriers we have helped address include food insecurity, housing insecurity, transportation challenges, and certification testing costs.
Through our student support programs, assistance has been provided for:
109 students receiving food assistance
58 students receiving emergency assistance
56 students receiving transportation assistance
23 students receiving certification assistance
18 students receiving scholarships and awards
8 students receiving concurrent enrollment assistance
Every number represents a student working toward a better future. Whether it is helping a student get to class, complete a required certification, or navigate an unexpected financial challenge, Metro Tech Foundation exists to ensure financial barriers do not stand in the way of opportunity.
As we continue through FY2026, we are grateful to the donors and partners who make this work possible. Together, we are helping Metro Tech students build the life they imagine.
